Hmm, well I would class a first meeting somewhat differently to a first date. A first meeting might entail somewhere quiet where we could have a walk or a cuppa (or perhaps both) plus a chat in order to decide whether we would like to see each other again. If we get past that hurdle then we can consider what our first date might entail.

I have lived on my own for a very long time and whilst I am fairly happy and I don't actually mind it, I think I would be happier if I found someone that I could love and share life with. I believe that with the right person to support you are both stronger and able to achieve more. I would love to travel and see more of the world. I am also a little old fashioned in that I would be quite happy to give up work or work part time. I was born before the "career woman" era and feel more content at home.

I have not ticked money or good looks. Having said that I do believe that my partner needs to be attractive in some way to me personally. Similarly, money is important to some extent because money can be a source of real stress if you are always struggling. You particularly do not want to be struggling money-wise as you get older.
