Well where to start. My name is Amanda, I am a single mom, originally from the Kansas City, Missouri area; I recently transplanted here to the sunny state of Florida. My son is 6 yrs old, and turns 7 in July. He is half Puerto Rican and white. He is 100% mine. His dad walked out on us when he was just 2. When I am not with my son I am at work or school. I currently am attending school full time to finish my nursing degree; as well as work full time for a hospital in the Jacksonville area. Being a single full time mom that works and goes to school I don't have much time for fun; though when I get the chance I love anything outdoors. I have few close friends that have become my family. I have a very large extended family. I did 4 years in the Active Army; driving fork-lifts and 18-wheelers and two years in the Navy Reserves working on ship engines. I had a blast. I learned a lot about me as a person. Life is short and I wanna take every moment I have and live life to the fullest. I hunt, fish, camp, rock climb, just do about anything I can outdoors with my son. I can be a dork and a blond at times but with only the best of intentions. I am a spunky, fun, adventurous, sarcastic spit fire that can get down and be one of the guys as well as clean up and be a girl. As for what I am looking for in someone. I want someone that has compassion and understanding. I do have a lot on my plate and to have someone that understands that friendship is the foundation of a long lasting relationship. I want to find a guy that can handle the negitive things life gives you and turn them into positives. Someone who can handle my spunk and is up for anything fun. I want longevity and creativity in a man. I want a role model and a guy that is an all around good guy.
